Companion Care Needed For My Loved One In Willowbrook

About who needs care: My sister is 70 years old and is mentally challenged with the cognitive abilities of a 6-year-old child; however, she is high functional and can take care of her daily needs. She has been complaining that she has no friends. All her friends have either died or are very old and sick. Her only contact is with her retired sister and brother with whom she lives. Her typical day involves waking up, taking care of her daily hygiene, preparing her breakfast, watching tv, etc. She is NEVER left alone in our house. We are looking for someone with patience who can spend time with her at our home. She loves to cook. She has a slight speech impediment but can usually be understood. About the care needs: She likes people who are friendly and will interact with her. She loves to cook for other people (friends). Sometimes she likes to watch tv and play with her dolls (wash their hair and brush after it dries.) She loves to go shopping and eating out at restaurants, but one of her siblings is always present when she leaves the home. Services needed include: companionship.
