About who needs care: My mother has muscular dystrophy and is 63. She fell out of her wheelchair last week and broke her shoulder, ankle, and hip. She is still in the hospital but will need help when she gets home. My dad usually does all of her care, and he will still be able to assist her. They need an extra set of hands to help with Hoyer lift transfers, dressing and bathing. About the care needs: My parents would like someone that has a medical background.
