About the job
About who needs care: Mom has memory issues. Dad has had a few strokes but can walk and talk. Gets his words mixed up. They don't really have hobbies at this point. TV for my mom, sleeping (mostly) for my dad. About the care needs: I need someone who can be here for a maximum of 4 hours to fill in when I leave for work and one of my two sisters will then be able to come and take over. My schedule fluctuates so I need someone LOCAL and somewhat flexible as to days. I need someone patient and kind and gentle with my parents. My mom sometimes doesn't remember that my sisters are married, or what country she is in (she thinks she is in Ireland often) and I need someone who can deal with that. Services needed include: meal preparation (meals will be prepared, just need to put it out) and light housekeeping.
