About who needs care: Mom needs visits from people who will engage her. She also needs someone to make sure she is taking her meds. She stops taking them when she feels better, but they are all needed. We would like for someone to take her shopping. She is rusty at driving since my dad used to do it all, but due to her short term memory issues, she cannot go out on her own as she will forget where she is going. At this time, we use a service for deliver, but she wants to do some light shopping. We want her to do things, so someone who can take her out to events would be great. Or someone who will come over to craft with her. She especially loves crochet and painting ceramics. About the care needs: My mom is introverted and shy, except when she gets angry, which is rare. Someone who is extroverted and friendly without being overbearing would be ideal. Her siblings are all overbearing and she doesn't need more of that. Hobbies on the side of crafting and gardening would be ideal. Interests include horses and western topics. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
