Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandfather In South Holland

About who needs care: My papa loves to watch his old Western's like Gunsmoke. We need overnight, care, though, so hopefully he will mostly be sleeping. He is in the hospital now getting ready for discharge. His heart is weak and failing, he is 92, and overall he has lost a lot of strength. He needs assistance getting up and using his walker and more assistance in the bathroom after he's finished using the bathroom. My mom is his primary caregiver during the day and needs relief at night. We are looking for someone to come stay overnight, roughly from 10pm-6 a.m. to be available if he wakes up and needs to go to the bathroom. He may wake up and feel confused or agitated and we'd need someone to be there to kindly calm him down and get him whatever he is needing, His heart is failing and the doctor's said his health will continue to decline. About the care needs: A caregiver who has lots of experience in transfers and bathroom care. Someone who is kind but also clear and confident in what they are doing. My grandfather responds well to a caregiver who is stern but of course. kind! Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
