About the care needs: Dad will prefer a direct, plain speaker. The care giver should be patient and even-tempered, and willing and able to stay in background when Dad doesn't want to interact. There are cats in the house, so please don't respond if you're allergic or don't like cats. Our initial need is for only one afternoon or morning a week. We're looking for someone who's interested in providing part-time care. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding.
