About the job
Compassionate care needed for my 84 yo mother, Ruth, in Oswego. She has RA, spinal stenosis, & neuropathy which causes her chronic & sometimes severe pain. She is mobile but with a walker. She is also on oxygen. She is very young at heart! Some mild memory issues. Assistance w/ meds is needed. Need someone who can handle light housekeeping, laundry & preparing some meals. One of your responsibilities will be helping her in the morning get moving & making sure she's safe while showering 2-3 times a week. Duties include providing companionship & social interaction. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, shopping etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is kind, energetic, patient, & willing to be flexible with our schedule.
