About the job
My mother will be coming home after a two week hospitalization for sepsis. She is extremely week, and has a hip contusion and a rotator cuff injury from a prior fall that has limited her mobility. This has temporarily left her needing to use a bed pan and a purewick for toileting. We will need 24/7 coverage, in shifts, for at least the next 2-3 weeks to help with this while she recovers towards being independent again. Responsibilities will include help with toileting, personal cleaning/bathing, help with feeding, and keeping her room and bathroom clean. As she recovers, may ask for assistance with walking with walker around her room.
