About the job
About who needs care: He is a diabetic. He recently broke his pelvis in a fall. He loves to play canasta, he is from west Virginia, he needs to get out more. He loves westerns and sitting outside on his swing. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who wants to help but will encourage him to do as much as possible for himself. The more he does for himself the more independent he will be. We need someone who will be kind but not afraid to let him know when he is not being nice and work with him to adjust his attitude. I do not Want him sitting in his chair all day or in his pajamas. He loves canasta! He likes roses and gardening. He was always into trains. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
