About who needs care: Joan is 87 and needs someone about once a week to help her with laundry (it is in her basement and its hard for her to do a whole flight of stairs) and do small errands like taking her to the grocery store, to her hair dresser, etc. (she no longer really drives) About the care needs: Joan is very sharp and full of energy, and has all of her faculties about her. She just isn't able to do as much physically anymore. But she doesn't like to be "treated like an old person" Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
