About who needs care: Just diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The whole process has and continues to move rather quickly. My wife and are the last and only family left, we both work full time in Medical and city infrastructure jobs. It's actually my father-in-law but shouldn't make a difference other than any direct questions. We aren't looking for miracles, just some enjoyment and comfort in this late chapter. He is in his 60s, difficulties with mobility and strength. He weighs about 140lbs at this time, so will require help physically. He enjoys sports such as hockey and golf specifically, and any Chicago commentary related. Can be stubborn but can also be overly polite. Searching for help and/or relief in a fair amid evenings and weekend hours. About the care needs: A polite listener at first. Then opens up and usually is comfortably as most. He will require changing of a bile bag. Help and motivate to take meds on time and regularly. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
