About who needs care: The main purpose is to help my mother apply medicated eye drops. She uses several different drops up to 4 times a day but needs help staying consistent and on time with them. Mornings would be making sure she gets up, showers, eats something, and applies whatever drops she needs. The rest of the day could just be scheduled visits to make sure she gets her drops and other medications. My father also lives in the home but it's just too much for him to handle. Her health has declined mentally and physically ever since my brother passed away unexpectedly 2 years ago. About the care needs: Compassionate, patient, understanding, a nursing background would be preferred but not required.
