I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her 90s. Important - experience with managing medication is required (no needles, just prompting the right meds for the right day at the required dosage). Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Experience with a Hoyer Lift would be helpful, although willing to train. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. CNA training / experience would be ideal! My mom is 92 years old, and no longer is able to walk due to a bad fall a year ago. She is confined to a wheelchair (motorized wheelchair), and needs help in getting in and out of bed & chair, which is why experience with the Hoyer Lift is preferred. Daily personal bodily care is required, as my mom has no feeling / no control below the waist.
