Care Needed For Stroke Survivor Mother In Matteson

Seeking long-term care for my stroke survivor mother in her early 60s. Mother is in a wheelchair and can stand with some help. Family has accessible van, electric hoyer lift and electric hospital bed. This job is for MWF mornings (8am-3pm) with opportunities to cover other shifts. A kind hearted, good natured caregiver would be a great match for our mother. She needs assistance with bathing and dressing. Seeking someone who is comfortable transferring from bed to wheelchair. Some light tidying up is involved. Additional duties include light meal preparation and transportation to doctor's appointments and therapy. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, has reliable transportation and most importantly, is reliable and dependable.
