About who needs care: He has the beginning of Parkinson's, but it is not bad yet. It creates balance issues and he is losing muscle mass and shaking at times. The main issue is dementia. He is great at self care but needs help with memory care. About the care needs: He is kind and sweet, but can be stubborn. He needs a kind, caring soul, that is willing to put her for down if need be. A loud, crass person would definitely be a bad fit. He loves to sing, be active and minister to other people. He used to be a pastor, so that is second nature. Mostly he just needs help sorting things out when he gets confused or forgets, help with making sure he has his meds right and some housekeeping. It would not require full time help. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
