About the job
This is a busy job, with minimal down time. (There is a 10-minute break within the first 4 hours and 1/2 hour lunch break for shifts that are OVER 5 hours. Breaks rarely apply to shorter evening shifts.) Must be able to tolerate smoking. * Responsibilities & Duties Personal Care: Bathing, bath rooming (toilet), dressing/undressing transferring (mechanical Hoyer lift), medical dressing changes, feeding, grooming, assisting with medication, exercising, wheelchair maintenance, and any other tasks needed for my health, safety, and comfort. Household Tasks: Cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, errands, minor repairs and maintenance, watering plants, etc. Community Support: Accompanying me in my modified van, walking with me, and/or taking public transit with me. You may be asked to provide care and support services when I travel
