Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Libertyville

Hello! I am looking for someone to assist my father with his personal needs in our family home. My father is 78 years old and has late-stage Alzheimer's/dementia. He uses a wheelchair on a regular basis. He is one of the sweetest older men you would ever meet, very gentle, kind, and loving. He is no longer able to do as much for himself anymore. He will need help brushing his teeth, washing his face, shaving, combing his hair, changing his clothes, using the restroom on occasion, He will need assistance showering 1-2x per week. He will need help with meal prep and clean-up too. I am looking for one consistent individual who has a passion for helping seniors to work in our home 4-5 days per week, 15-20 hours per week, and on weekends. The general shift will be 9am-1pm, with some shifts slightly less and others slightly longer. We have a young family (two daughters aged 6 and under) and a domestic housecat. We will accommodate and work with your schedule as best as possible. Thank you. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who has their own transportation, is consistently on-time for work, laidback but takes initiative and pride in their work, and loves working with seniors that have special needs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
