About who needs care: Dialysis patient three days a week has COPD, has a heart condition. loves to talk, play cards occasionally. Needs to be picked up from dialysis three days a week we would like to find someone who can occasionally help with that. Need someone who can walk next to her and carry portable oxygen. We have a chair lift in the house to get up and down the stairs. She can walk independently, make it to the restroom mostly and do small tasks. I am looking for someone to help, provide some compassion and be an assistant to things she wants to do or needs for a couple hours. About the care needs: Someone who is understanding of an elderly person who likes to talk, be open to various things such as daily tasks for assistance. Be comfortable with an oxygen tank and to keep her safe by being attentive. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
