About who needs care: My dad is the baby of eight. He is 82 turning 83 May of 2025. He is the last surviving child. Longevity runs in his family with other siblings living till 92, 95. He has the first stages of Alzheimer's. Heart disease. High anxiety. Takes medicine morning and night. It is tough for him to get around but he can! Slow to get around but can walk. Is a huge jokester. Was a former Parole officer/ Policeman. Loves his 2 little dogs and wife. A structured ideal day? He has a lot of back pain so he doesn't do A LOT. He would enjoy good shows on TV. Being with his Dogs. Visiting with visitors at short allotted times. Having Family visit, and definitely Laughing. He loves good food and taking trips and casinos. He goes to A Methodist Church and has a huge heart. He has been a business owner and done so much for so many over his almost 83 years. About the care needs: Someone with a good personality, that is patient and understands the ups and downs of Alzheimer's. Most of the needs are to make sure medicine is regulated daily and a little help with daily home needs, Possibly errands. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
