About who needs care: Former teacher with some recent balance issues who needs a buddy to make sure she doesn't fall when she gets up in the night. She loves to sing, enjoys reading, and especially watching Jeopardy! She will be awake for a short period at the beginning of your shift and will need some cues with her morning routine to maintain safety. Some monitoring with dressing and personal hygiene routine, no assistance with the actual task. She will also require some assistance with checking her blood sugar in the morning. About the care needs: Be prepared to talk and answer questions, sometimes repeatedly. We need a friendly, caring individual that is willing to maintain safety and work with family. Shift would be 8:30pm-8:30 a.m. and will be on an as needed basis Services needed include: companionship.
