About the job
Seeking a live in caregiver for our Dad. He is in his 80's and has Parkinsons. He is still active and does boxing for Parkinson's patients 3 times per week. He lives in his home that he has owned since 1968. We have a team of 3 live in caretakers that cover the 7 day week. One of our long time caregivers has to go to Poland for family reasons. The initial shift that is open is from Sunday evening at 7 p.m. to Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Our Dad has 4 adult children and 11 grandchildren who are all living nearby. Position is very well defined and the care team is well run. Caregiver has their own private bedroom. Interested candidates must be CNA's or licensed home health care certified. They must have be willing to drive our Dad's minivan to various appointments and family functions. Pay is $250-$275 per 24 hour shift.
