The client is 37 years old, fully ambulatory, with ID/DD and non verbal. We are seeking to have a candidate work 2 Sundays per month, with availability during the week when the full time caregiver has to take sick time etc.- additional hours may be available if requested. Duties include meal prep, laundry, toileting, dressing and companionship. Client entertains herself with tv/toys etc but requires supervision for safety. We are looking for someone patient, kind, empathetic who is interested in a long term care giving placement. This role would be ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work.
