About who needs care: My 75-year-old father is back home after vascular surgery in October and time at a rehab center. He cannot stand at all and has very limited mobility. He is also in a lot of pain in his legs and left shoulder. He is in a wheelchair but working with PT to try to get him to eventually stand again with hopes of walking with his walker in the future. As of right now, he transfers from wheelchair to bed with a slide board. About the care needs: Experience with slide board. May need to lift him at times. All toileting needs and help getting him dressed. Will also need to feed him breakfast and lunch. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. Needs assistance with all toileting as he cannot stand up to go to the bathroom and does not have full control.
