About who needs care: My aunt has Alzheimer's - short-term memory is gone long-term is still in tact so she can have great conversations about where and how she grew up; how much she loved being an educator. She likes Word Search and some other puzzles. She LOVES old music - Sam Cooke, Smokey Robinson and more. About the care needs: Someone with patience. It can be difficult for my aunt to get comfortable with new people. She prefers to be with people who are a bit older as she views them as being more experienced; feels like it will be easier to talk with them. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
