About the job
About who needs care: Started with long Covid, now have two sprained ankles and two frozen shoulders. I am in physical therapy but really need to get out of the house. Right now I get out only once every two weeks and am going crazy. I am in a wheelchair and the building is not wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator and a couple of steps. I am looking for someone who can take me out for a walk and roll or go in the car and do some light errands. About the care needs: Flexible schedule, as it would really depend on the weather obviously I don't want to go out in inclement weather. If we could go for a ride and do errands in their car it would also be good. So they would need to be able to put my wheelchair in their car. I had a caregiver who was very nosy about my medical history. My medical history beyond the basics is my privacy. Also, this caregiver took off her mask in my house when she thought I wasn't looking. She did not last long. It is imperative that you wear a mask in my apartment. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
