Want to spend a few months in Michigan near the lakefront? Seeking professional live-in home care 2 hours from Chicago in South Haven, MI. My grandmother (once called the grand-dame of Michigan sculpture) turns 104 this month and has had a decline in mobility (uses a walker now) and memory and cognition. Despite this, she is in great spirits. She needs a live-in caregiver to look after her during the day (she's pretty easy going and takes lots of naps) and wake up with her at night if she needs attention (and to make sure she is safe). We will have someone to fill-in throughout the week so you can have some breaks, of course, but this is a live-in job where most of the time you will be the sole caregiver.
