About the job
About who needs care: I have MS -Multiple Sclerosis. I currently have wound treatment for bed sores. I have a hoyer lift now to assist me we moving and I need to be position and re-position to prevent bed sores. I like to go to the movies and watch movies. I also enjoy throwing parties for my family and friends. I dont require much work but I want to make sure I can get up in the morning and get back in my bed before the end of the day. I need to eat more, so meals are critical. Again I need to be repositioned to prevent bed sores and daily cleanliness for my house as well as hygiene. About the care needs: My family say I am depressed and rude so someone with patience would be needed. I am generally a nice person but I am bitter about the condition I am in. A male staff would be ideal for lifting purposes but I do have a hoyer lift and other items to assist with that. A patient, good communicator, understanding person is needed. I can be flexible with the schedule but I need to make sure I am clean daily, I eat, I can get in and out of bed daily. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
