I need a companion care provider for my mother in her 60s. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. She lives with our oldest brother, his wife, and their adult daughter, but they all work. The housekeeping will be centralized to our mother's bedroom and the bathroom only. We're looking for some help preparing a light breakfast and lunch for her. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. For example, a morning walk, weather permitting, or light gardening. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. She's currently taking chemotherapy and radiation pills, so please wear a mask and gloves. She is showing signs of early dementia and is properly medicated for schizophrenia. You will be able to meet and speak with her before starting if we move forward in the process.
