About the job
About who needs care: My wife is going through a total knee replacement (TKA), outplacement 11/12. I expect to be with her the majority of the first two weeks, which is when she needs someone with her 24/7. I would like someone to come into the house 4 a.m. - 8 a.m. During this time I (her husband) will be out of the house. She will: - likely be sleeping much of that time - may need someone to help her adjust her position in bed (first floor) - may need assistance going to the bathroom (same floor - first floor) - may want to have something to eat (and someone to prepare breakfast) - may need reminder to take pain medication - likely will need someone to pack ice around her knee About the care needs: Patient (which I imagine is true of everyone you screen and hire out) No specialized skills A Bible-believing, Jesus-following Christian preferred Services needed include: mobility assistance.
