About who needs care: My dad is an 89-year-old man still living at home. He has moderate Alzheimers that is moving towards severe. My mom is caring for my dad at home but she is burning out and is in need of mental breaks. My dad is always confused and is becoming more and more agitated. He is no longer able to take part in his past hobbies; instead, he primarily sleeps or is lying in his bed watching TV. About the care needs: I require someone skilled in memory caregiving. The ideal candidate must understand and have experience in caring for individuals suffering from moderate to severe dementia. Additionally, my dad is always confused and often agitated. He is a bigger man who is around 6 foot now and weighs 230 lbs. The ideal caregiver must be able to handle this size of person, both emotionally and physically.
