Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandfather In Arlington Heights

About who needs care: My grandfather has dementia, diabetes, and limited mobility. He lives in a house with my grandmother and goes to a senior daycare 3 days a week. The days he is home are difficult for my grandmother, though, so we are looking for someone to help with personal care tasks in their home. Showering, dressing, bathroom help, and light exercise are examples of things we would want a caregiver to assist him with. He loves talking about history, music, and his family. He typically sleeps in very late and once he is awake he sits in his chair and watches TV most of the day, so we are hoping for a little bit more physical activity and mental stimulation with a caregiver. About the care needs: We are looking for a caregiver who is patient and kind, someone who has experience with dementia/ Alzheimer's disease, someone who is willing to sit and listen to stories, and someone who is able to clean up bathroom accidents if they happen. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
