Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Meridian

About who needs care: Recently suffered a stroke which leaves her unable to move around much on her own. Has some mobility but requires transfers from bed to recliner to wheelchair to car and needs assistance transferring to the toilet. Looking for someone who can help with daily care and some minimal home tasks like lunch and light cleaning. She enjoys going to the library and going for walks/rides. Really looking for some daytime companionship and assistance. Is striving to find ways to be more independent so guidance and minimal aid with dressing for the day. About the care needs: Someone who is talkative and a good sense of humor. Mom is pretty sarcastic and loves joking. Someone who can hold a good conversation. Because mobility is an issue, someone who is able to aid in transfers - a lot of physical therapy has been done to train in transfers but she still needs stability support when standing and guiding to sit down. If driving around to appointments or other outings is possible, a car that is not too high off the ground - like a truck. She can get into regular sedans and mid size SUVs. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
