About who needs care: It is both parents. 74 years married. Mom has demetia. Its not wandering dimentia... just forgets and struggles for recall or words. Both walk with walkers. They need help with showeres and they need meals made. They have four sons and two daughter in laws that are all within a mile or two. We stop often during the day and spend time with them. They like TV and conversation. You are not in this alone and we are all a very close knit family. About the care needs: They are fun people. They are outgoing. Dad was a big hunter and a long time realtor. He loves conversation... but he's not somebody that rambles about nothing. He lives through his four boys. My Mom was a lifer with Hewlett Packard. Was with them for over 35 years. Great career with them. Great sense of humor both have. We have always done everything together. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
