Mornings are especially challenging because she has to stay near her home because of colitis. - She is alert and motivated to try to take care of herself and her home but it is getting more difficult. Special aide in dressing and undressing as well as prep for bed & freshening up is needed. -she loves company, cards, and TV.. - an ideal day for her would be to be able to get up, try to do some small things around the house, cook, eat, and take part in normal activities. About the care needs: -More than anything else she would like someone who is friendly, caring, personable, and non-judgmental. -Someone who enjoys cards or is willing to try (She would be happy to teach them different games since she is an accomplished player) would be positive. -Sunday is a particularly special day for her; she watches Mass on TV, receives sacraments, and has her hair stylist visit in the home. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
