About who needs care: We need care for my 84yr old mom and dad in their home and experience with Alzheimers, patient is required. My dad needs help with personal care due to Alzheimer. Each time making sure has a clean diaper and getting him to change his pants if soiled, sponge bath, help him use electric shaver and brush teeth. My mom needs help in the shower and applying lotions 2-3x a week. Needs someone to talk to and tell stories. Driving her in her car and dropping her off to social meetings. They need help with meal prep, dishes. Running to the grocery store. We need about 3-4 hrs 6 days a week. About the care needs: The type of personality would be; patient, talkative, cheerful. Good experience with Alzheimer patients and being creative in talking them into doing things. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
