About who needs care: Recent amputee below the knee. Resides on approx. 3 acres in country on Iowa side approximately 10-15 minutes from Nebraska City. Prides himself on being independent but he does require assistance as he has fallen which has required revision of the amputation. Will need a firm caregiver that will not allow him to get his way. Is obese with BMI in 40s. About the care needs: Strict with care protocols Dry humor and "good ol' boy" humor appreciated. Need someone who can see both sides of the situation because he can sometimes get stuck seeing the negative side of things. He is a gearhead and handyman Caregiver should be skilled with organization skills as he needs to learn better habits. He has too much stuff. Services needed include: transportation, and mobility assistance.
