About who needs care: While our dad is living on his own, dementia-short-term memory is an issue. I am located out of state and while my brother lives 30 minutes away, he isn't able to visit often. We are considering having someone essentially check in on him by stopping by the house on select days. About the care needs: Our dad is easygoing. He recognizes his memory issues at times, but right now he just goes with the flow and doesn't get upset, frustrated or angry. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
