About who needs care: I can't afford to pay for this. Doesn't agency plans pay for this? Answers to above questions. I have many conditions. Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Acute back pain, Had many surgeries on feet & now missing 4 toes, Have trouble walking, lifting, standing for long periods and much more. Hobbies. Cooking, Baking, sewing, crocheting, knitting, playing with dogs, working on computer & phone. An average day. Help with preparing meals. Help make the bed. Sort the laundry & worker do the laundry. Get my mail. Vacuum, clean windows & mirrors, take out garbage, dust, clean each room, shopping for groceries & other things, errands, and more. About the care needs: No young adults, under the age of 30. No caregiver that doesn't understand their job or doesn't know how to do it. ( I've had way too many not knowing what they were doing). Someone kind & listens. Enjoys conversations. Workers who can check with me when they get there & can see work that needs to be done & does it. A worker can have a phone for work calls or family problems, but not talking to friends. Workers use to put ear phones on & talk to friends the whole time, so no ear phones. Music is fine but soft & low. Sorry for having to be particular but after 20 some years of Workers knowing a great worker is few & far between. I also have to add those who are emotionally not stable. Those who have disabilities that prevent them from doing their job. A lot of workers complained they couldn't do certain jobs due to a bad back. That doesn't make sense why they would take a job not being able to do it. I can get along with most people. With lack of care for 3 years, I need a serious helper. Thank you. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
