Hands-on Care Needed In Keokuk

About who needs care: It is my brother who needs the care. He is having knee replacement surgery and would need help with bathing and transportation to appointments for about 8 weeks. His wife is a stroke patient and he did all the care for her. But now with the surgery he would be unable to care for her. She requires lifting into her wheelchair, bathing and toileting. She also needs night time toileting. They are both wonderful people and live in a very nice home. They have lots of friend and family but who are unable to do the required nursing assistance. About the care needs: They are very kind and generous people. They are best suited to those who have an upbeat personality. They need someone very proficient and very good at their job. NON-SMOKING! Someone with at least 3 years experience is preferred. Someone who has had training and is certified as a nurse's assistant is preferred. They would have to be able to do a little lifting. So no bad backs. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
