About who needs care: She do but you would need to speak to her son about them. She lost tons of weight and no one knows why, but she refuses to see any of her doctors due to losing all her vehicles. She can be combative to others but will not hit them. Very possible her lung cancer is back. Her memory is not the greatest and her wife did not do a good job before leaving her due to heavy financial issues and friends hears her screaming at her wife on speaker phone on vacation. She just isn't taking care of herself and no one knows for sure if she even has electric but her son has been helping her with things so she may have all that done now in a small town she has no one she knows and can not take care of the big house alone either. She will tell you she doesn't need this but her doctors will help assist so she knows she is keeping her independence. That is important to her. About the care needs: Someone who is to the point, can explain in different ways, and help her keep her independence. She will take all help if it benefits her. She does not sleep much so someone who likes to talk over a pot of coffee would be good. Someone who is able to document her activities and behavior changes, make sure she's taking her medication and making adult like choices. She absolutely loves her grandkids, so someone who can be positive but is not a push over. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
