Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Cedar Falls

About who needs care: My dad is a diabetic. He has both legs amputated just under the knee but he gets around ok with a walker. He is also going blind, deaf, and has severe neuropathy in his hands. He basically watches TV all day and occasionally gets up to go to the bathroom. We need someone who can get him up and ready for the day, get him what he needs, and do some light housework for my mother. About the care needs: We would like someone who can be bold with my dad. Someone who can handle basic meds (primarily pills) and watch his sugar levels. Someone who can come alongside my mind and help when he has appointments in the morning so it would be good if you can assist him when he stands up and down. He has a belt so it is easier. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
