About who needs care: Being treated for Parkinson's Dementia. Currently not severe; does not forget where he is or is going, but can no longer drive. I am his spouse and can still drive, so I take him to his appointments. He loves to fish and would like to do so again. Other interests would depend on what we might find in our area. Ideal day might be relaxing, visiting with neighbors, exploring new interests... About the care needs: We would appreciate a dedicated Christian, as we are active in our conservative, non-denominational church. Someone friendly (aloha spirit), even a local. Someone truly caring, not just doing it for a job. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
