About who needs care: I am wheelchair-bound due to fracture in my spine, L-4, when I fell backwards down a whole flight of metal-tipped stairs. About the care needs: Need training in dealing with incontinence of both bladder and bowel, getting me in and out of bed using special technique to prevent fracture from moving. Empathic so to understand how debilitating this injury is until it heals. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
