About who needs care: Post-stroke, limited mobility, diabetic and high blood pressure. Mom likes to talk and laugh. She is a homebody who is content with staying home. About the care needs: Gentle, encouraging, patient. Strong enough to assist with lifting and transferring. Samoan-speaking is a plus but not necessary, though Mom loves talking about her home place of Samoa. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
