About the job
Looking for a dependable, compassionate part-time caregiver/companion for a sweet senior woman with severe rheumatoid arthritis. She uses a walker indoors, wheelchair outside, and needs help with light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, occasional grocery trips, and companionship. Bonus points if you're a fan of NCIS, Chicago Fire, and/or NBA or College basketball (or pretend to be)! Ideal candidate: - Reliable, empathetic, and patient - CPR certified - Up to date on all vaccinations (COVID, flu, etc.) - CNA or higher certification preferred - Experience with arthritis, mobility limitations, or senior care is a plus - Good communicator with a positive attitude - Must have own transportation - Non-smoker - Values kindness, respect, and creating an inclusive, supportive space
