About who needs care: Hello, I am looking for a experienced in home caregiver to care for my 58-year-old Mom who has ALS. ALS is commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, and is a fatal, chronic, and progressive neurological disorder that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement and breathing. My mom loves to go shopping, going to see a movie, being outside or simply going to store to brouse the isles! The daily tasks would be: dressing, ad mistering feeds through a PEG tube, medication administration, light house keeping, meal prep, and bathroom assistance.
