About who needs care: My mother has health issues that require her to take multiple medications (high BP, high cholesterol, arthritis). She may need assistance with getting around due to limited mobility (she has a cane but that may not be enough). My mother has suffered great childhood trauma and verbal abuse for years that has effected her mentally. We have tried to encourage her to seek help, but she has declined the offers. Her feet and legs are constantly swollen. About the care needs: My Mommy needs someone who is great at listening, loves music and someone firm. She can have a strong personality, so whoever she is paired with needs to have patience and be firm (respectfully). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
