Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Union City

About who needs care: My dear friend and beautiful soul, worked as social service director for the disabled and elderly but has been disabled herself for 10+ years, chronic migraine, has white matter brain disease, has had seizures, is almost completely home bound. Very embarrassed to ask for any help. Her bother and I both live in other states. I'm thinking of hiring a 40-50+ year old lady to pick up groceries (I'll provide a list, it will be short, she can't tolerate many foods anymore) drop off, if my friend is not suffering too bad with migraine maybe take groceries inside, etc. My friend is very embarrassed about the poor state of her house because she hasn't been able to do house work for a long time, has chronic dizziness, rheumatoid arthritis. So very sad. I don't know if she'll allow me to pay for someone to stop by even once a week, help with a few simplest things. I can afford to do so and want to at least communicate with a few care. com ladies in that area and see if any one would be a good fit to understand my friend's needs. About the care needs: A 45-50+ year old lady who has experience with a sweet 70-year-old with pain and disabilities and has been too embarrassed to ask for help or accept help for years. Her two siblings are not patient and try to just make her do what she can't manage. One friend lives an hour away and would maybe be able to help, but is also too bossy and impatient. Compassion, kindness and understanding are the top skills that might help make this work... Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
