Assist with self-care in daily activities for a woman in her 40's with intellectual disability. She is charming, engaged in the community, assertive, a talented actress and tennis player. She loves animals and her family. Average 30-35 hours a week. Person should like dogs and be kind, positive and outgoing. Prefer experience with the developmentally disabled. Must pass background check. Accompany client on outings, adventures and downtime. Transport client to work, appointments, church, library, social activities, etc. Assist with money management, meal preparation, shopping, personal grooming, housemate relationships. Supervise/prompt medications, household chores, organization and storage of personal belongings and clothes, physical exercise. Complete paperwork. We are eager to meet you.
