About who needs care: My father currently lives in a memory care facility. He has been diagnosed with dementia, cancer and has lately had a few falls. We are looking for someone to sit with him making sure that he is safe and that he eats the meals prepared by staff at the facility. We would also like the person to walk with him when he's up to it and help him to participate in the activities within the community. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, trustworthy and outgoing. Experience working with seniors and/or a person with dementia would be a plus. Would love for person to play memory games with him and alert us if they feel he is in need of medical attention. Work days/times can be flexible. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
